Thank you Children In Need!

We currently operate a very successful, high-quality, affordable creche through the support of Children in Need funding and we are delighted to say that we have been awarded continuation funding.

This will allow us to operate the existing creche for another three years as well as extending the childcare offered by the current creche to enable children with special educational needs and disabilities to benefit from the creche and to receive specialist educational and developmental support appropriate to their needs. This will be achieved through employing a dedicated Creche Special Needs Co-ordinator.

The Creche will operate at the Whitfield Valley Centre on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30am until 12:30pm. To secure a place we advise you book in advance by phoning CAFAG on 01782 878 843.

Within North Staffordshire alone the only other such facility that exists is the Peter Pan Centre for children with special needs in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

At least 140 children up to the age of 9 will benefit from the project over its three years’ lifetime.

The Children in Need funding will enable the employment of a Creche Supervisor, two Creche Assistants and a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.
